Volunteers from Bemis Associates in Shirley plant a pollinator garden at the RRC - photos by Lauri Johnson

Would you like to help make a difference in our watershed? NRWA programs are growing and so are opportunities for volunteer support. Whether you’re interested in outdoor or indoor projects, looking to work in a group or on an individual basis, the NRWA would love to have you share your talents and time with us.

We have opportunities for volunteers to help with:

  • Riparian restoration projects, including invasive plant removal and native plantings

  • Preparation of mailings, scanning and archiving documents, and other indoor projects

  • Planning and presentation of NRWA events and fundraisers

  • Water monitoring, including sample collection and lab work (next spring, weekends)

  • E.coli and nutrient sampling (next spring, weekdays)

  • Pollinator garden management

  • Small repair and maintenance projects

  • Photography at NRWA programs

  • Outdoor education program support

  • Newsletters, enews, and social media, writing and photography

To volunteer, email Joanne Ward, NRWA Office Administrator, with your interests and availability.  Thank you!
